The band at Stephen Lewis SS (Peel District School Board) in Mississauga, ON has had a focus on original arrangements of popular music since 2012. The ensemble is comprised of students from grades 9-12 and rehearses twice per week. With a heavy focus on student arrangements, the group attempts to learn at least one new piece every week. Many thanks to Lucas Beatty and Ray Melana for their technical support on this project. We would also like to thank CBC Music for the opportunity to share our music with a national audience.
