General Brock Public School is located in Scarborough, Ontario. The General Brock Drum Club consists of a group of students in Grades 4 to 6 who just love to play music. Although the club’s name would suggest that we are all about the drums…we aren’t! Over the years, we have opened up our playing to include many instruments but our name stayed the same. We loved learning to play a Shawn Mendes tune! It was a particularly interesting challenge as there isn’t sheet music for an ensemble like ours. We used our eyes and worked it out together.
