The a capella group Nothing But Treble from St. Brendan has grown steadily since it started three years ago. With a real passion for singing, they are able to learn music quickly and often accompany their a capella singing with body percussion or other forms of vocal percussion. Our school motto is ‘Navigating Excellence with Spirit’ and these Gryphons they share their musical spirit and energy regularly at school for Masses and assemblies. In their version of Leonard Cohen’s iconic song Hallelujah, there are some featured solos, as well as some vocal improvisations towards the end of the piece.
